We all know that bananas are great for our health, with an overwhelming amount of health benefits. Most of us have heard that bananas are good for your skin too, being called 'natures Botox’ so we decided to put this theory to the test. We set out to do a 30day trial, with putting a banana mask on our face every second day, and eating a banana every day. We also used the banana peel on our face and neck almost every day (mainly around our wrinkles) and the results were fantastic, the wrinkles around the eyes had diminished and our skin now has a gorgeous glow. Below we have listed in point form the many benefits bananas have to your skin and health. Also the different recipes you can use to apply the bananas to your skin with just the ingredients in your cupboard.

All recipes, mix ingredients together and leave for 20-25mins, then rinse with warm water.

1) Banana
2) Banana, yogurt and honey
3) Banana and avocado – great for aging skin
4) Banana and lemon juice 
5) Banana honey and lemon juice

We advise to try them all and decide which is best for you. If they all feel great and you see the benefits there is nothing wrong with rotating them all to suit you. With our trial we mixed the masks up and used different masks on different days. We always used the banana peel on our wrinkles. Once the 30day trial is up we advise only using the mask once or twice a week when needed and still eat your banana a day.
